The Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science is an interdisciplinary degree that integrates physical and biological sciences in the study and investigation of the environment. Environmental scientists use knowledge of the earth's systems to protect the environment and human health, which might involve cleaning up contaminated areas, making policy recommendations, or working to reduce waste and pollution. They may also investigate the source of an environmental or health problem and devise strategies to combat it.
