University College is looking for dedicated undergraduate students to be part of our 2021–2022 peer advisor team!
Peer advisors provide frontline and drop-in advising services to University College students, assisting them with registration and schedule adjustments, connecting to various campus resources, and navigating university policies, procedures, and technology.
The position is a great opportunity to exercise and refine skills in communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving—all highly sought skills employers want in college graduates!
What can peer advisors do for you?
Peer advisors provide drop-in advising services for University College students. Promoting academic success and campus resources, peer advisors are available to assist you with the following:
- Making schedule adjustments
- Finding and navigating your degree map
- Navigating university technology
- Utilizing major and career exploration resources
