The psychology department provides its majors with a well-balanced and scientifically rigorous curriculum. Students completing an undergraduate degree in psychology will graduate with a strong background in communication skills, critical thinking, scientific methodology, ethics, and diversity—skills that are in high demand.

Admission by Certification

  • Have a GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Complete PSY-B 110* with a C or better
  • Must submit an application to the School of Science office, LD 222

*Prior to fall 2012, complete PSY-B 104 or PSY-B 105 with a C or better

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Cluster

This major belongs to the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Cluster. The Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) cluster in the Office of Academic and Career Development, is the academic home of University College students pursuing majors in the sciences, engineering, technology, informatics, and computing.  The STEM cluster partners with students on their academic advising and career plans prior that guide them into their degree granting school.
