School of Liberal Arts

The Department of History is committed to quality teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The department is proud of its close working relationships with other programs on campus, including museum studies, the National Council on Public History, the Center for American Studies, Africana studies, and women’s studies.

Degree Maps

One of the most difficult tasks of being a college student is figuring out what classes to take and when to take them. In order to make the process a little easier, each major at IUPUI has its own degree map outlining the path you should take to graduate as quickly as possible.
