The IUPUI German program trains students to achieve communicative and cultural competence in German, such as speaking and writing about everyday topics, as well as more complex subjects. A step-by-step progression of language courses enables students to achieve these goals.

Admission by certification
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Complete at least 12 IU credit hours

Arts, Humanities, and Human Services Cluster

This major is part of the Arts, Humanities, and Human Services (AHHS) cluster. The AHHS cluster is the academic home of University College students pursuing majors in art and design, education, general studies, journalism, liberal arts, and social work. The AHHS cluster partners with students on their academic advising and career plans to guide them into their degree-granting schools.
