This 124 credit hour, four-year program gives students a broad-based foundation in the field of electrical engineering. Students are prepared to design, develop, and manage processes, systems, and components related to communication and signal processing, power systems, control and robotics, manufacturing, and microelectronics.

Get admitted to the School of Engineering and Technology

Admission requirements
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Complete ENG-W 131
  • Be ready to go into MATH 16500 (complete prerequisites or place into via math placement test)
  • Be ready to go into CHEM-C 105 (complete prerequisites or determined by placement)
  • Complete 12 credit hours that count toward the engineering degree (ENG-W 131 counts toward the 12 credit hours)

The STEM cluster is the academic home of University College students pursuing majors in the sciences, technology, engineering, informatics, and computing.
