The Arts, Humanities, and Human Services (AHHS) cluster in the Academic and Career Development office is the academic home of University College students pursuing majors in education, art and design, liberal arts, journalism, social work, and general studies. The AHHS cluster partners with students on their academic advising and career plans to guide them into their degree-granting schools.
The AHHS cluster works with students to understand the numerous opportunities in the arts, humanities, and human services. In addition, the students will learn about the critical employable skills that are gained in these fields, including oral and written communication, critical thinking, problem solving, research, ethical decision making, and technology. We will work with you to create a holistic academic and career plan to transition you into your degree-granting school. By encouraging you to engage in purposeful and productive co-curricular activities, such as research, study abroad, service learning, and internships, you’ll be more prepared to transition into the world of work.
