Advice to students: We have graduating seniors fill out a first-destination survey because the job you get after college is just that—your first destination. Not your only one. It may seem like a lot is riding on what you study and do in college, but there are always opportunities to transition to a different career later. While this is a great time to find something that fits, do what feels best for you right now and try not to stress about whether this is the one career for you. Get good experiences. Use your network. And take advantage of opportunities when you can.
If you could be any major in your cluster, what would it be? Why?: Exercise science. I like to work out, and I love researching exercises and learning about what muscle groups they target. My sister is also a personal trainer, and it seems like it would be rewarding to help someone reach their fitness goals! Similar to helping people reach their career goals.
Biography: I’m from northern Indiana originally, near the South Bend/Mishawaka area. When I’m not working too much, I like to try new vegetarian recipes, work out, read (comics and books!), hike or do outdoorsy things, try new restaurants, travel, and manage my cat’s Instagram page.
