- What do you like about the work you do: I love working one on one with students, learning about their goals and aspirations, and making a road map to their success!
- Past jobs/experiences: This will be my seventh year in higher education. I have experience in career development, registrar, housing, and admissions. I've also been a fourth grade teacher, and the summer after college, I worked at Disney World!
Advice to students: Deep breaths are your best friend. Overwhelmed? Deep breath. Confused? Deep breath. Walked across campus and made it to class in the nick of time with coffee? Deep breath.
If you could be any major in your cluster, what would it be? Why?: While I was an elementary education major, I was also a history minor, so I'd definitely choose that one. I have always loved ancient history, and that's what I specialized in while in college. Anything pre-history to about the early 1800s is my jam!
Biography: I am originally from Decatur Township here in Indianapolis, but I did live in Florida for about eight years before moving back here after college. I am currently a member of Naptown Roller Derby, as well as the Indianapolis Women's Chorus! I personally have six pets, including a Maine Coon mix, three snakes, and two leopard geckos.
