Nathan Medsker

Peer Advisor, STAR

Department:
Academic and Career Development
Campus:
IUPUI
Major:
Informatics, Certificate in Human Computer Interaction, Minor in Video Production
Graduation year:
May 2022

Did you ever change your major? Yes, computer science and chemistry.

Work or involvement experience while at IUPUI: Team assistant for Students Taking Academic Responsibility (STAR); Honors College peer mentor; vice president for Honors Adventure Club; and OTEAM peer mentor.

Advice to students: Meet with your advisors even when you aren't required to anymore. They tend to know more than we do and are invaluable. Also, take part in on-campus events/organizations. You may regret not doing so later on.

Brief bio: I am just a small town guy living the dream up in Indy. I enjoy running, playing Super Smash Bros, eating copious amounts of pizza, and watching scary movies. After graduating, I plan to work in IT or website design/development. I may also attend grad school.
