Professional Experience:

Advise to students:

“Hard work works. Working really hard is what successful people do. And in this text, tweet, world that you’ve grown up in, remember just because you’re doing a lot more doesn’t mean you’re getting a lot more done. Don’t confuse movement with progress.”

Denzel Washington: I had a 1.7 GPA. (Retrieved 3/25/19, https://www.goalcast.com/2017/08/15/denzel-washington-2).

If you could be any major in your cluster, what would it be? Why?: If I were to choose a major in the EPP cluster to pursue, I would choose philanthropy because it fits best with my worldview of helping others through nonprofit organizations.

Biography: I grew up in central Indiana and have lived most of my life in Indiana. My hobbies include working with wood, building things, and learning something new. To relax, I like science fiction movies (both good and bad) and watching shows like the Walking Dead, the History Channel, and the Discovery Channel. I have coached youth soccer and track. I am married and have two children and five grandchildren. My wife is a bookkeeper and a deputy clerk of the courts. My daughter is an assistant coordinator of the Sport Science Institute at the NCAA, and my son is a captain in the Army.
