    • Minor in Philosophy
  • Master of Arts in History, University at Albany, SUNY 2017

Professional Experience:

  • How long in ACD: August 2019.
  • What do you like about the work you do?: I love that I get the chance to make a positive impact on students’ lives.
  • Past jobs/experiences: Most recently, I worked as an admissions counselor at IUPUC. As a college student, I had the opportunity to student assist in study abroad, the registrar’s office, and admissions. I was also a public address announcer for Wabash football and soccer games and a radio broadcaster for baseball.

Advice to students

  • It’s important to know what you like, but it’s just as important to know what you don’t like.
  • Study abroad—it will change your life for the better.
  • Most importantly, read for class!

If you could be any major in your cluster, what would it be? Why?

Civic leadership in the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. If I weren’t in higher education, I would likely be in another type of nonprofit, community-based work.

Biography:

I’m originally from Noblesville, Indiana, and came back to the state following graduate school. I watch more Yankees’ games than any sane person should, and I blog about the team all year round. I love to cook and love watching Bon Appétit videos on YouTube even more. My girlfriend, Macy, and I are always looking for a new place to eat or play trivia. She and I recently adopted an Australian cattle dog mix named Bear.
