Advice to students: Your time in college is about more than just getting to class on time. Find organizations that interest you, get involved on campus if you can, and stay curious. If you find yourself wondering what it would be like to be in a different major, don’t be afraid to ask questions!
If you could be any major in your cluster, what would it be? Why?: If I could be in any major in one of the clusters, it would be civic leadership in the EPP cluster. I have a growing interest in the way the nonprofits are managed and run, and this degree prepares students to be able to lead these types of public service programs. I learned valuable skills in my English program, but civic leadership is where I could see myself going next.
Biography: She/Her/Hers. I was born and raised in Galveston, Indiana, with my mom and three brothers. I completed my undergraduate degree at Indiana University Kokomo, which is about 20 minutes from where I grew up. Recently, I made the move to Indianapolis with my dog, Charlie! You can find me in the library or at a dog park any day of the week. I enjoy being outside and love hiking, especially at Shades State Park here in Indiana.
